The meeting between Larijani and the Emir of Qatar began in an official format, during which the opening segment was held publicly.
After several minutes, however, the two sides proceeded to continue their discussions in private.
According to reports, the meeting is still underway at the Amiri Diwan of the State of Qatar.
Larijani has traveled to Doha after a visit to Muscat, where he held talks with the Sultan and foreign minister of Oman.
