In a telephone conversation on Tuesday, Araqchi and Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov talked about the relations between Tehran and Ashgabat as well as the regional and international developments.
Araqchi expounded on the recent violent riots in Iran, saying a number of terrorist formations are acting under the guise of media to spread lies and promote violence and terrorism against the Iranian nation.
The top Iranian diplomat stressed the need to prevent those terrorist groups from taking advantage of the media outlets.
For his part, Meredov reaffirmed Turkmenistan’s determination to deepen relations with Iran.
