Serbia Highlights CIA, Mossad Involvement in Iran Riots, Echoing Past Coup Attempts

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Serbia's President Aleksandar Vučić highlighted the involvement of the US and Israeli regime’s spy agencies in recent riots across Iran in an attempt to replicate the 1953 coup in Iran and similar attempts for regime change in Serbia.

Vučić stated that the Israeli spy agency (Mossad) and the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) interfered in Iranian demonstrations turning them into violent riots with an aim to repeat the scenario of Western-backed coup d’état in Iran in 1953 operation.

In his remarks, Vučić urged the public to read the books "Operation Ajax" and "All the Shah's Men" which detail the events of 1953 in Iran.

He further noted, "Look today how Mossad and the CIA are using the same formula of operations after 73 years.”

He drew similarity between Iran’s recent events to what happened in Serbia when the former president of Serbia was overthrown, saying: “Some people dreamed 25 years later that they could repeat what happened on October 5, 2000."
