Speaking to reporters at a weekly press conference on Monday, Esmaeil Baqaei condemned the American and Israeli interference in the internal affairs of Iran and their support for violent riots.
He said while the Iranian administration was resolved to address the concerns of peaceful protestors, a wave of weapons and firearms hit the country to foment violent riots in tandem with the interfering comments by the US and Israeli officials.
The spokesman said the brazen meddlesome remarks by the US and Israeli officials revealed that the riots were aimed at inciting violent unrest and chaos and increasing the death toll.
Many believe that what unfolded in Iran during the recent riots was the 13th day of the war that the Zionist regime and the US launched against Iran in June 2025, Baqaei added.
The gross interfering comments by the American and Israeli officials are in contradiction to the international principles, the spokesman noted, adding that Tehran will be giving all those evidence at the international level.
He stated that the documents and evidence indicate that armed terrorists have targeted Iranian citizens, attacked government, military and medical centers, and burnt people alive in the style of Daesh (ISIL) terrorists.
