A medical source told Anadolu that the girl was shot dead in the Jabalia refugee camp, an area from which Israeli forces were supposed to have withdrawn under the ceasefire agreement.
According to witnesses, forces of the Israeli regime stationed east of the camp opened heavy fire toward the area, directly hitting the child and killing her.
Meanwhile, the killing comes amid the broader Israeli regime assault on Gaza since October 2023, which Palestinian health officials say has killed more than 71,400 people, mostly women and children, and wounded over 171,000 others, leaving the enclave devastated.
Separately, the Health Ministry said that despite the ceasefire, Israeli regime forces have continued to carry out attacks, killing 424 Palestinians and injuring 1,189 more since the truce took effect.
