Mohsen Sefid Choghaei opened the scoring for the visiting team in the fifth minute at the Naghsh-e Jahan Stadium, but Mohammad Askari leveled the score in the 15th minute.
Kheybar winger Ali Khanzadi found the back of the net with a header two minutes into the second half. Sepahan midfielder Omid Nourafkan could equalize the match in the 65th minute but missed his penalty.
Amir Hossein Farsi scored Kheybar’s third goal in the 74th minute.
Furthermore, Paykan edged past Naft & Gaz Gachsaran 1-0 in Gachsaran. Mehdi Najafi scored the winner in the 89th minute and Paykan qualified for the quarterfinals.
