Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh was awarded by the Leader, the commander-in-chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, with the 'Order of Fath' on Sunday.
The medal was given for the IRGC Aerospace Force’s stellar ‘True Promise’ operation against the Zionist regime.
The award was bestowed a few days after the IRGC’s massive missile strike against the Israeli targets inside the occupied territories.
On October 1, Iran responded to the Israeli assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC general Abbas Nilforoushan by launching as many as 200 ballistic missiles toward the Zionist regime’s military and intelligence bases all over the occupied Palestinian territories.
