He led Havadar last season, where the Tehran-based football team came 10th in the 16-team Iran Professional League (IPL) table.
Elhami, 48, has previously coached Iranian teams Nassaji, Tractor and Havadar.
He has been hired by the Rafsanjan-based club as Mohammad Rabiei’s replacement.
Rabiei is a candidate to take charge of Zob Ahan.
