The Houthi forces have started to redeploy inside the port city of Hudaydah as part of the UN-sponsored peace agreement signed in Sweden earlier this month, Reuters quoted a UN source as saying on Saturday.
Both sides, the Yemeni Houthis and the Saudi-backed party, agreed on a ceasefire in Hudaydah province and withdrawal of their armed forces during the meetings that took place in Sweden in December.
Meanwhile, Al Jazeera cited the UN as saying that the parties in Yemen have agreed to open closed humanitarian corridors.
Although the UN has brokered a ceasefire in Yemen, the Saudi-led coalition has continuously violated the ongoing ceasefire.
Since March 2015, Saudi Arabia and some of its allies have been carrying out airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.
On Friday, Saudi Arabia carried out new airstrikes in Hudaydah despite the ceasefire and shortly after a meeting there involving UN observers.
The attacks hit an area near Qabiah Village in Bayt al-Faqih District.
