Team Melli defeated Egypt 3-1 on Friday at the Kite Beach in Jumeirah, the UAE.
Mohammad Masoumizadeh, Ali Mirshekari and Mostafa Kiani scored for Marco Octavio’s team.
Mostafa Samir scored Egypt’s only goal.
On Saturday, the UAE will take on Tahiti for seventh place. Twice world cup runner-up Tahiti was humiliated by Spain 1-9. La Roja will clash with USA for fifth place.
Brazil will play Egypt in the third-placed match.
The tournament, which is organized by the Dubai Sports Council (DSC) and Beach Soccer Worldwide (BSWW), got underway in Dubai on November 6 and will finish on November 10.
