ADVT Slams Terrorist Attacks in Egypt, Turkey, Nigeria

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism (ADVT) strongly condemned recent terrorist attacks in Egypt, Turkey, and Nigeria.

World

A bombing at a chapel adjacent to Egypt’s main Coptic Christian cathedral killed 25 people and wounded another 49 during Sunday Mass, one of the deadliest attacks carried out against the religious minority. No group or individual has so far claimed responsibility for the deadly incident.

Also, at least 29 people, including 27 police officers, were killed in two bomb attacks in the Besiktas district of Istanbul, the country’s interior minister said early Sunday.

56 people were also killed and many more injured after two women blew themselves up in a bustling market in Nigeria’s northeastern town of Madagali on Friday.

In a statement on Monday, the ADTV said, “Blind and instrumental terrorism does not recognize any time and place. It victimizes innocent people every time in a corner of the world. Recurrence of human tragedies is the result of the negligence and imprudence of international bodies and human community pays the price of such negligence and imprudence by losing their life and health.”

The Association for Defending Victims of Terrorism (ADVT) is a non-governmental, cultural institution, whose members are the families and children of victims of terrorism.

The ADVT intends to apply cultural, informative and expressive ways, on behalf of the families of terror victims, to encounter with terrorist organization.
