Hadadi, who is without a coach at the moment with less than one year ahead of the 2016 Olympic Games, has shown his interest in working with the Russian coach.
The Iranian thrower won a silver medal in the 2012 Olympic Games under guidance of Bukhantsov.
Bukhantsov will travel to Tehran on October 28 to negotiate with the Iran Athletic Federation’s officials.
Kim Bukhantsov, 84, represented Soviet Union in 1956, 1969 and 1964 Olympic Games.
