Saudi Warplanes Pound Hospital in Yemen

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Saudi fighter jets once again bombarded a hospital in Yemen, this time in northwestern province of Hajjah, media reports said on Tuesday.

During the Saudi-led airstrike, a number of civilians were killed and may others injured, Lebanese Al Mayadeen TV network reported.

Saudi warplanes also mounted four attacks on an international airport in the Yemeni capital of Sana'a today, according to the report.

By stepping up its attacks on Yemen, the Saudi-led coalition has scuttled the peace process in the Arabian Peninsula country.

On March 26, Saudi Arabia and some of its Arab allies began to launch deadly airstrikes against the Houthi Ansarullah movement in an attempt to restore power to the fugitive former President Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi, a close ally of Riyadh.

According to a civil coalition monitoring Saudi Arabia's crimes, more than 3000 people, including 722 children and 532 women, have been killed during 95 days of Saudi-led military strikes on the Arab country.

The Saudi-led aerial strikes have targeted over 60 hospitals and 13 ambulances.
