The 30-year-old defender has penned a one-year contract with the Iranian football team.
He was a member of Zob Ahan football team and helped Isfahan-based team win Iran’s Hazfi Cup last season.
Carlos Santos has also played for Brazilian Sao Paulo and Dinamo Zagreb.
He would be a member of Naft football team which will meet Al Ahli of the UAE in the AFC Champions League quarter-final.
