In the latest attack, a Palestinian man was killed and two others wounded when an Israeli drone struck civilians in the al-Shati refugee camp, west of Gaza City, a medical source told Anadolu.
A separate Israeli drone strike near the municipality of al-Zawayda in central Gaza killed 27-year-old Abdul Rahim Walid Matar and seriously wounded another Palestinian, according to a medical source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. Witnesses said the drone fired two missiles at a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians west of the town.
Meanwhile, a Palestinian woman succumbed to injuries sustained in an earlier Israeli bombing of al-Shati refugee camp, a source at al-Shifa Hospital said.
In southern Gaza, the body of 54-year-old Sheikh al-Eid was brought to Nasser Hospital after she was shot dead by Israeli forces inside her tent in the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, according to witnesses. She had returned from al-Amal Hospital to bid farewell to her husband and daughter, who had traveled to Egypt for medical treatment.
In central Gaza, five Palestinians were wounded when an Israeli drone struck civilians on Al-Ishreen Street in the Nuseirat refugee camp, a medical source said.
Israeli military vehicles also opened heavy fire near the Hosni al-Masdar Mosque, east of the al-Maghazi refugee camp, while an Israeli quadcopter drone dropped a bomb in the area. No injuries were reported.
In northern Gaza, an Israeli drone struck an apartment in a residential building in the al-Karama neighborhood, northwest of Gaza City, moderately injuring a Palestinian, a medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital said.
Israeli naval vessels also fired machine guns and shells toward Gaza City’s coastline, while two Palestinians, including a woman, were wounded by heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles in areas north and east of Khan Younis, according to local and medical sources.
Separately, Israeli forces demolished homes and civilian structures in areas under their control east of Khan Younis, with residents reporting two powerful explosions.
According to Gaza’s Health Ministry, Israeli violations since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, have killed at least 1,602 Palestinians and wounded another 5,799 as of Thursday.
The figures come amid Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, launched on October 8, 2023, which has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and wounded over 174,000, according to the ministry.
The Israeli genocidal war has also affected around 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure.
