The Palestine Red Crescent Society said its crews transported two Palestinians to hospital after they were assaulted by Israeli forces in Al-Minya, near Bethlehem, sustaining bruises.
Meanwhile, in Kafr Dan, west of Jenin, Israeli special forces raided a residential home and several shops before detaining a young Palestinian man and withdrawing, the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
Further north, Israeli troops accompanied by a military bulldozer demolished a memorial dedicated to Palestinians killed by Israeli forces at the main entrance to Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya, south of Nablus. Local sources said the occupation forces also seized a display featuring a map of Palestine, in a further attempt to erase Palestinian national symbols from public spaces.
The raids extended to surrounding communities, where Israeli forces uprooted olive trees, sealed the iron gates at the entrances to Al-Lubban ash-Sharqiya and neighboring As-Sawiya, and used bulldozers to block dirt roads that residents relied on to enter and leave their villages.
In Hizma, northeast of occupied East Al-Quds, Israeli forces closed the town’s entrances and several shops before firing stun grenades toward residents.
Elsewhere, troops searched the town of Ramin, east of Tulkarem, although no arrests were reported, WAFA said. In the nearby suburb of Iktaba, military vehicles disrupted traffic while soldiers removed a Palestinian flag from Martyrs’ Square.
The latest raids come amid a mounting campaign of violence, restrictions and destruction across the occupied West Bank, with attacks by Israeli forces and settlers continuing to intensify alongside the Israeli regime’s genocidal war in Gaza.
According to figures released Monday by the Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and settlers carried out 3,133 attacks across the West Bank in October, marking a 52.8% increase from September.
The commission attributed 1,764 attacks to Israeli forces and 1,369 to Israeli settlers. Attacks by settlers alone more than doubled from the 647 recorded in September, underscoring the accelerating violence against Palestinian communities and the growing threats to their homes, land and livelihoods.
