A military source affiliated with Yemen’s Armed Forces told the Saba News Agency on Sunday that personnel, employees and civilians had been urged to keep their distance from Saudi oil installations.
The source described Saudi Arabia’s airspace as unsafe, with the exception of the skies over Mecca and Medina, and called on Aramco shareholders to sell their shares before it was too late to avoid potential losses.
The warning comes amid an increase in retaliatory attacks by Yemen’s Armed Forces against targets in Saudi Arabia in recent weeks.
Earlier, Yahya Saree, spokesman for Yemen’s Armed Forces, announced missile and drone attacks targeting airports and Aramco facilities in Jeddah, Riyadh and Najran, describing the operations as a response to airstrikes on Yemeni cities.
Meanwhile, Yemen’s Health Ministry has reported a rising toll from Saudi attacks, saying that 536 people were killed or injured across various parts of the country between September 3 and October 18.
In its latest report, the ministry said women and children accounted for a substantial proportion of the casualties, adding that they had been targeted in Saudi airstrikes.
The figures were presented by the ministry as the latest account of the human cost of the ongoing attacks on Yemen.
