In remarks at a meeting with commanders of the Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran (FARAJA) on Thursday, Pezeshkian thanked the Police personnel for their round-the-clock efforts to safeguard the country’s security and sovereignty.
The president said the enemy had sought to create internal unrest by targeting the leadership, military commanders and security and law enforcement centers during the recent war of aggression, but the resistance of the Armed Forces, the efforts of FARAJA and the Iranian people’s support foiled the plan and left Iran proud.
Many countries now view Iran differently following recent developments, he added, noting that no regional country had expected Iran to withstand such a massive attack.
Pezeshkian added that the enemy has imposed every possible pressure and sanction to prevent the government from serving the Iranian people, but stressed, “We are determined to serve the people with all our might and meet their needs.”
The president emphasized that the economic war is less visible but “far more difficult and heavier” than a military war. He said his administration remains committed to serving the people and added, “We are determined to bring the enemy’s economic war to defeat.”
Pezeshkian also stressed that Iran would not fear threats or enemies as long as it has the support of its people.
