Fatemeh Mohajerani made the remarks in a post on her X account, referring to a report presented by Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi at a Wednesday cabinet meeting on his recent trip to New York and his meetings there.

Mohajerani said Araqchi briefed the cabinet on his meetings, including the presentation, through mediators, of Iran’s proposed conditions for reopening the Strait of Hormuz to the US.

“Despite the enemy’s efforts to isolate Iran, the Iranian delegation was at the center of attention and meetings,” Mohajerani said, adding that numerous meetings had been held with European countries, Persian Gulf states and other countries.

She noted that diplomatic efforts to find ways forward in Iran’s foreign policy are being pursued seriously.

Mohajerani also said that Foreign Minister Araqchi announced that Iran has received a proposal from the US.
