Israeli regime attacks across the Gaza Strip have killed Palestinians and wounded others, including a woman who succumbed to gunshot wounds sustained in the al-Mawasi area west of Rafah, as Gaza authorities warn that continued restrictions on aid and deteriorating shelter conditions are pushing the territory toward a severe humanitarian crisis.

Sources at Nasser Medical Complex said the woman died from wounds sustained after Israeli forces opened fire in the al-Mawasi area of southern Gaza.

The latest violence comes as Gaza’s Health Ministry reported further Palestinian casualties during the latest 24-hour period, adding to a death toll that has continued to rise despite the ceasefire that took effect in October 2025.

According to the ministry, at least 1,422 Palestinians have been killed and 4,996 wounded since the ceasefire began, while 834 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble during the same period.

The ministry said the cumulative toll from the Israeli regime’s genocidal war on Gaza has reached 74,023 Palestinians killed and 175,111 wounded.

The figures include Palestinians killed or wounded in attacks that have continued despite the ceasefire.

In northern Gaza, one Palestinian was also killed and others wounded when an Israeli drone struck a group of people near the Al-Faluja Clinic in Jabalia refugee camp, according to reports from colleagues on the ground.

The continued attacks have coincided with growing warnings over Gaza’s humanitarian conditions as winter approaches.

Gaza’s Government Media Office said in a statement marking nearly a year since the ceasefire that Israel had failed to honor its commitments and had instead deepened the humanitarian crisis.

The office said the Israeli regime had committed 5,147 violations of the ceasefire agreement, which it said resulted in 1,421 Palestinians being killed, 4,983 wounded and 198 arrested.

It also said only 72,826 aid trucks had entered Gaza out of the 210,600 that should have been allowed in under the agreement, putting the reported implementation rate at less than 35 percent.

The office said only 13,785 people had been permitted to leave Gaza, compared with 35,000 expected to travel to and from the territory, representing a reported rate of 39 percent.

As winter approaches, the office warned of a “certain humanitarian catastrophe,” saying more than 1.5 million displaced Palestinians are living in deteriorating tents across Gaza.

It said 162,000 of the territory’s 270,000 tents had become worn out and unusable, leaving hundreds of thousands of displaced people exposed to worsening weather conditions.

The office also warned that more than 255 damaged buildings were at risk of collapse, citing the collapse earlier this month of a building in Gaza City that killed 21 people.

The Government Media Office called on the international community and United Nations bodies to intervene urgently, demand the full opening of Gaza’s crossings, facilitate the departure of patients requiring medical treatment and allow winter relief supplies to enter the territory.
