Addressing the ceremony, Pezeshkian emphasized the capacity and abilities of students to build the country’s future, saying that if they focus their minds and thoughts on becoming the best, they can achieve that goal.

Referring to his own life and path of advancement, the president said, “As president, I have reached this position from an ordinary family,” adding that this demonstrates that people can progress in life through effort and perseverance.

Pezeshkian also urged the students to work to build the country’s future in a way that would ensure that “no foreigner dares to look at the Iranian nation as a weak people.”

The president described “effort” as one of the requirements for achieving success and stressed the importance of solidarity and friendship among students.

Pezeshkian added that the government would work to create an environment of friendship, participation and effort for students so that they could pursue their growth and progress in a suitable setting.
