In an interview with Tasnim, the Yemeni deputy foreign minister stressed that attacks by Yemen’s armed forces against Saudi Arabia will continue until the complete end of the blockade on Yemen.
Discussing the latest developments in Yemen, particularly amid the direct participation of the Saudi air force in bombing many areas and provinces of the country, Al-Sabri stressed Sana’a’s right to defend itself against aggression.
“Our armed forces continue their operations to escalate the situation in the Red Sea within the framework of the ‘blockade for blockade’ equation,” he noted.
The Yemeni deputy foreign minister said the purpose of the recent deadly strikes against Saudi mercenaries inside Yemen, as well as targeting some Saudi infrastructure deep inside the kingdom, was to prevent the Saudi enemy from carrying out its oil exports.
“The purpose of such operations is not only to inflict material losses on Riyadh, but these precise strikes are intended to make the Saudi enemy understand that continuing confrontation with Yemen will have no result and that, ultimately, it must respond to the legitimate rights and demands of the Yemeni people,” he added.
