“The Islamic Republic of Iran has always opposed war and has considered safeguarding the interests of the people and the security of the region to lie in refraining from fanning the flames of conflict,” the Iranian president said in a post on his X account on Tuesday.

“However, just as it has courageously risen to defend itself against aggression to this day, it will continue this resistance with strength until the aggressors fully regret their actions and will safeguard the rights of the great Iranian nation,” Pezeshkian underlined.
