The drone was conducting “hostile operations” in the area when it was targeted with “appropriate weaponry,” according to a statement by Saree on Telegram.

The Yemeni Armed Forces said the downed drone was the third Saudi Arabia-owned drone to be shot down in the past 24 hours.

The Yemeni Armed Forces declared a naval blockade against Saudi Arabia in July in the Bab al-Mandeb Strait after denouncing Riyadh for blockading the territory it holds in Yemen.
