The figures include 4,358 deaths and 12,359 injuries recorded since March 2, when the Israeli regime sharply intensified its attacks on Lebanon.

Meanwhile, a Health Ministry report published Wednesday said Israeli attacks had targeted ambulance crews 179 times since March 2, killing 135 healthcare workers.

The date marked the beginning of the latest escalation in the Israeli regime’s war on Lebanon, following an Israeli strike on Beirut that killed 31 people.

According to the UNHCR, the United Nations refugee agency, 360,000 people remained displaced by Israeli aggression in August, including at least 22,000 people living in collective shelters.

The figures come amid continued Israeli attacks across southern Lebanon despite two US-brokered “peace” agreements signed in June.

The Israeli regime has maintained its military occupation of southern Lebanon since March, when it announced the establishment of a “buffer” zone.

The June 26 framework agreement was contingent on Hezbollah’s disarmament, but Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem rejected it as “null and void” and demanded that Israel first end its occupation.

The agreement did not specifically require the withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon.

In the latest attacks, an Israeli airstrike on Kfar Reman in southern Lebanon on Friday killed three people and injured 23 others.

The Israeli military claimed it had cleared Hezbollah fighters from tunnels beneath the strategic Ali al-Taher bridge.

Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli raids and artillery shelling also targeted seven towns in the Tyre and Nabatieh districts on Friday, with no casualties reported.

Early Sunday, Israeli warplanes bombed Zawtar al-Sharqiyah in southern Lebanon.
