Israeli regime military spokesman Ella Waweya posted a map on X marking a building in red and told residents to leave immediately, claiming the building was a Hezbollah facility and that the threatened strike was in response to Hezbollah drones launched toward Israeli forces.

Meanwhile, Lebanese media reported Israeli regime airstrikes on Nabatieh and surrounding areas in southern Lebanon, including attacks that destroyed a three-story residential building.

Al Mayadeen reported that Israeli regime warplanes targeted Nabatieh, while Al Jazeera reported two airstrikes on Nabatieh al-Fawqa and the outskirts of Kafr Rumman.

In Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Israeli regime warplanes completely destroyed Ghandour Hospital, according to reports, amid continued strikes on residential areas and civilian infrastructure in southern Lebanon.

Al Mayadeen also reported that an Israeli regime airstrike on Kafr Rumman completely destroyed a three-story residential building near Nabatieh.

The Israeli regime army said the attacks were carried out in response to two Hezbollah drones launched toward its forces in southern Lebanon, and said there were no casualties among its troops.

The escalation came as the Israeli regime announced a surprise General Staff-level military exercise to assess readiness for large-scale and multi-front events, with commanders of all units and branches and reserve forces called to participate.

The Israeli regime illegally occupies 5 percent of Lebanese territory, extending 10km (6 miles) from the Blue Line, the UN-demarcated boundary between Lebanon and Israel.
