The child was transferred to al-Shifa Hospital for treatment, according to Wafa.

Local sources also told Wafa that Israeli regime troops targeted homes in Gaza with explosive devices around dawn.

Meanwhile, heavy gunfire was reported east of Gaza City, while Israeli regime forces continued artillery shelling northwest of Rafah.

The latest attacks came amid continued Israeli regime bombardment and gunfire across the Gaza Strip, with Palestinian civilians also reported killed and wounded in Khan Younis on Friday.

According to Palestine Online, Fadi al-Abadla was killed by Israeli regime fire in al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis, while three civilians, including a child, were wounded near Hamad City.

Israeli regime forces also carried out artillery shelling and heavy gunfire in areas of Khan Younis, Gaza City and the central Gaza Strip, with civilian homes among the areas targeted.

The attacks come amid continued Israeli regime violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, after four Palestinians, including a 13-year-old boy, were killed by Israeli forces in Beit Lahia and western Gaza City on Thursday.
