Israeli Strikes Kill One, Wound Another in Southern Lebanon

According to Lebanon’s official National News Agency, an Israeli drone targeted the al-Ruwais neighborhood in Nabatieh in the morning, killing one person and injuring another.

Separately, another Israeli drone struck a building in the al-Maslakh neighbourhood of Nabatieh with a guided missile, the agency said, without providing further details.

Meanwhile, the Israeli military also launched two air strikes on the outskirts of Kfar Reman and Arab Salim in southern Lebanon.

Earlier, the Israeli military said it had attacked Nabatieh under the pretext that Hezbollah had launched two explosive drones at its forces in the Ali Taher Ridge area.

The Israeli military claimed the strikes targeted the Lebanese group’s infrastructure, while it remained unclear whether there were additional casualties.

The latest attacks come amid continued Israeli military incursion against southern Lebanon.

Thousands of Lebanese civilians – including hundreds of children, women and first responders – have been killed since March in Israeli military attacks despite its claims of only targeting Hezbollah personnel and infrastructure.
