The two presidents met on Monday on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and Shanghai Plus summits in Kyrgyzstan.

During the meeting, Pezeshkian and Rahmon reviewed the latest developments and the progress of cooperation between Tehran and Dushanbe.

They also emphasized the need to utilize existing capacities to further develop and deepen relations between the two countries across various fields.

The two presidents also discussed ways to strengthen joint interactions and expand bilateral cooperation.
