Pezeshkian Stresses Muslim Unity on Prophet’s Birth Anniversary

In a message on Saturday congratulating the leaders and people of Muslim countries on the anniversary of the Prophet’s birth, Pezeshkian described Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the highest model of human perfection and a guiding light for humanity.

“We are proud to belong to the community of a Prophet who brought a message of peace and security to all humanity; a Prophet whose religion is rooted in peace and whose title is a mercy to all the worlds,” the president said.

He said the Prophet’s noble conduct represents the finest embodiment of virtue and moral character, providing humanity with guidance as it faces the challenges of an increasingly complex world.

Pezeshkian emphasized that Muslims should draw inspiration from the Prophet’s life and teachings by further strengthening unity and solidarity within the Islamic community.

He also called on Muslims to contribute to establishing security, justice and reconciliation across the world, particularly in Muslim countries, through adherence to the values promoted by the Prophet.

The president expressed hope that the shared faith, determination and resolve of Muslims worldwide would lead to greater unity and solidarity among members of the Islamic community and contribute to the continued growth and advancement of Islam around the world.
