Pezeshkian made the remarks on Thursday at a ceremony to bid farewell to Iran’s newly appointed ambassadors to South Korea, Belarus, the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan and Singapore.

He described expanding interactions and developing political relations with all countries as among the key priorities and important missions of Iranian ambassadors abroad.

Emphasizing the need for sustained efforts to expand cooperation in scientific, economic and political fields, the president said the most important responsibility of Iranian ambassadors is to create suitable conditions for upgrading bilateral cooperation and establishing effective communication to develop relations, ensure security and build lasting peace.

Pezeshkian also stressed the importance of organizing and improving Iran’s foreign interactions and cooperation on the basis of common interests and win-win principles.

He stressed that the interests of no country can be secured through excessive demands, saying conditions should instead be created in which both sides can benefit from shared interests through interaction.
