Speaking at a ceremony held in Tehran on Wednesday to unveil four knowledge-based achievements of the AEOI, Eslami said Iran’s nuclear industry has proudly joined the ranks of the world’s advanced nuclear industries despite facing heavy pressure, sanctions, military aggression and terrorist operations in the past.

“Today, Iran’s nuclear industry is moving alongside and on a par with the leading countries in this field,” he said, describing the achievement as highly significant and “a thorn in the enemy’s eye.”

Eslami said nuclear issues are among the main subjects raised by Iran’s adversaries whenever they make unfounded statements against the country.

He said the adversaries deceptively raise allegations concerning the non-peaceful use of nuclear energy, while “they themselves know in substance, and their actions have also demonstrated, that their main objective is to prevent the progress of the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

The AEOI chief added that the industrial and technological capabilities developed by the organization are now serving various sectors of the country, with products and services being provided to different industries and fields.

Eslami said the AEOI has expanded the application of nuclear and plasma technologies across various sectors, including the inauguration of a nondestructive testing laboratory for sensitive industries such as nuclear power, aviation and power plants.

He also announced an agreement to use plasma technology in agriculture, with initial results showing at least a 30% increase in wheat yields, while a larger-scale project will cover hundreds of hectares.

In the medical field, he said the technology has been successfully applied to chronic wound treatment, with 20 centers and clinics established nationwide and several thousand patients already treated.
