Israeli Regime Forces, Settlers Injure At Least 20 Palestinians in West Bank

The Al-Alquds Governorate said three Palestinians were shot by Israeli regime forces while attempting to enter occupied East Al-Alquds near the separation wall in Al-Ram, north of the city.

Palestinians, mostly workers, are injured near the separation wall and along the boundary between the West Bank and Israel on an almost daily basis while attempting to cross in search of employment.

Israel has barred Palestinian workers from returning to their jobs since launching its war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, prompting some to attempt to scale the wall despite the risks.

Meanwhile, the Palestine Red Crescent Society said its teams transported two young Palestinians to a hospital after Israeli occupiers beat them in Arraba, south of Jenin.

In northern Tubas province, a 15-year-old boy was hospitalized after occupiers severely beat him in Tammun, the organization said.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society also treated 11 Palestinians suffering from tear gas inhalation during Israeli regime military raids in Tubas and nearby Tayasir, including four children treated at the scene.

In southern Hebron province, elderly Said al-Amour suffered injuries and bruises after armed occupiers beat him in Al-Rakiz village in Masafer Yatta, the official Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.

Israeli regime forces later raided al-Amour’s home, searched it, damaged its contents and confiscated his family members’ mobile phones.

Elsewhere, two other Palestinians suffered tear gas inhalation during confrontations with occupiers and Israeli regime forces on the outskirts of Arraba, southwest of Jenin.

Israeli regime forces also raided several other areas of the West Bank, including Beit Fajjar south of Bethlehem, the city of Al-Bireh and Al-Mughayyir village north of Ramallah, Wafa said.

Tear gas was fired during the raid on Al-Mughayyir, but no injuries were reported.

The occupied West Bank has witnessed continued escalation in Israeli regime military offensives and settler attacks since Israel launched its war on Gaza in October 2023, alongside the expansion of illegal settlement outposts, construction of settler-only roads and tightening restrictions on Palestinian movement.
