During a phone call, Araqchi reaffirmed Iran’s principled support for Iraq’s security, stability and territorial integrity, stressing the need for vigilance against terrorist acts, including the recent attack on the office of the prime minister of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region.

He also warned against plots aimed at damaging the “friendly and fraternal relations” between Iran and Iraq.

The two sides underscored the importance of maintaining security and stability along their shared border and strengthening bilateral coordination to prevent threats and acts of insecurity.
