Araqchi briefed Fidan on the latest status of Iran’s talks with Oman on finding an appropriate mechanism for the safe passage of ships through the Strait of Hormuz, stressing Tehran’s determination to continue the consultations.

The two foreign ministers also exchanged views on the latest regional developments and ongoing diplomatic initiatives, emphasizing the need to pursue political and diplomatic efforts to manage the situation, prevent further escalation and promote regional stability and security.
