Israeli Regime Attacks Kill 9 Lebanese in South (+Video)

Lebanon’s Health Ministry said seven Lebanese citizens, including three children and two women, were killed in an Israeli regime airstrike on the town of Ansar.

In a separate Israeli airstrike on Deir al-Zahrani in the Nabatieh district, two people were killed and nine others were wounded, the ministry said.

Lebanese sources reported that the Israeli regime carried out two airstrikes on Deir al-Zahrani, with initial reports indicating that several residential buildings were targeted.

Lebanese media published images showing extensive damage to homes in the area.

Meanwhile, Lebanese media reported Israeli regime artillery attacks on Nabatieh al-Fawqa and the outskirts of the Doha Kfarreman heights.

Al-Ahed reported continued explosions and Israeli regime bombardment across southern Lebanon, saying Israeli occupation forces have prevented displaced residents from returning to their homes while demolishing and leveling properties.

Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam described the escalation of Israeli regime attacks on southern Lebanon as dangerous and said it undermines efforts to restore stability.

Referring to the attack on Ansar, Salam said the victims, including women and children, were not part of any military infrastructure.

He added that any action involving military infrastructure falls exclusively under the responsibility of the Lebanese government and does not give Israel any right to violate Lebanese territory.
