Separately, Israeli forces launched an extensive airstrike early Saturday on the Ali Al-Taher heights in southern Lebanon.

Israeli regime forces also carried out an extensive airstrike on the Wadi Ansar area in Zarariyeh as attacks on southern Lebanon continued.

Local sources reported extensive flights by Israeli fighter jets over the skies of the Al-Nabatieh area in southern Lebanon.

Lebanese sources also said Israeli artillery targeted the Ali Al-Taher heights, which they said had come under repeated attacks in recent hours.

According to unconfirmed reports, several Israeli soldiers were wounded in clashes in southern Lebanon.

Some news sources also reported that Israeli forces attempted to advance toward the Ali Al-Taher heights, but faced resistance and were forced to withdraw.

The southern Lebanon region has witnessed increased Israeli military activity in recent weeks, with Al-Nabatieh, Ansar, Bint Jbeil and Hadatha among the strategic and tense areas that have previously been targeted by repeated air and ground attacks.
