Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi said the collection, titled “40 Days of Military Aggression by the US and the Zionist Regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran,” contains documentation, correspondence and international statements concerning the actions and crimes of the aggressors.
He said the collection has been prepared in both Persian and English and comprises approximately 1,300 pages in total.
According to Gharibabadi, Iran’s permanent missions in Geneva and New York were tasked with pursuing issues related to the aggression and the crimes committed through official correspondence with various organs of the United Nations and its specialized agencies.
He said details of attacks and crimes committed by the aggressors were also formally communicated through letters to the UN secretary-general, the Security Council and UN specialized agencies.
“At the same time, documented reports on certain aspects of the aggressors’ crimes were prepared and made available to international organizations and various countries so that the world public and, in particular, officials and authorities of international organizations would become aware of the dimensions of the crimes committed by the US and the Zionist regime,” Gharibabadi said.
He explained that the collection is organized into three sections: “Reports,” “Correspondence,” and “Statements and Positions.”
