The IRGC announced on Friday that it has destroyed the remaining structure of Amazon's data infrastructure during the 27th wave of Operation Nasr-2.
According to a statement, the IRGC forces targeted and destroyed the remaining building of the facility in the completion of an earlier operation against the American company's data center.
The statement noted that the Amazon facility played a key role in processing and supplying intelligence to the child-killing US military, adding that punitive operations against American targets would continue.
The latest strike followed an earlier IRGC attack on Amazon's data infrastructure in Bahrain during the 24th wave of Operation Nasr-2 on July 21. The IRGC had described the facility as a major information-processing and exchange hub supporting the US military and its regional operations, identifying it as Amazon Web Services' Bahrain cloud region.
According to the IRGC, the facility was used to process and exchange military data for US forces and was among the cloud computing infrastructure supporting the Pentagon's operations under the Joint Warfighting Cloud Capability (JWCC) program.
The IRGC said the attacks were carried out in response to continued US military aggression against Iranian territory.
