In a statement on Monday, the spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters said repeated US "adventurism and malicious actions" aimed at intervening in the management of the strategic waterway have seriously endangered regional security, international trade, and the safe passage of oil tankers and commercial vessels.

The spokesperson added that the cooperation of some regional countries with the United States has further increased the risk of the conflict spreading across the region.

"Following our previous warnings, we will under no circumstances allow the US to interfere in the management of the Strait of Hormuz," the spokesperson said.

The official stressed that the Armed Forces of Iran would respond forcefully to any attempt by the "aggressor and pirate US military" to obstruct or create insecurity for the passage of commercial ships and oil tankers outside the routes designated by Iran and without authorization from the Iranian Armed Forces.

He added that the powerful operations carried out in recent days by the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army demonstrate Iran's determination and capability to enforce that policy.

The spokesman also warned regional governments against providing logistical support or any other form of cooperation to US military forces.

He said that any cooperation with the US or logistical assistance to its "aggressor army" would be regarded as an act of war against Iran's sovereignty and national security.

The spokesperson further cautioned that if the conflict expands, "the flames of war will engulf all countries of the region," adding that responsibility for any deterioration in regional security and the spread of the conflict would rest with the US and those countries cooperating with its military.
