Iran President Congratulates Judiciary Chief on Reappointment

In his congratulatory message, the president emphasized that justice, the rule of law, and close cooperation among the three branches of government are more essential than ever for strengthening public trust and advancing Iran.

The president noted that the decision reflected the Leader's confidence in the judiciary chief's commitment, experience, and valuable service in the judicial system.

Pezeshkian also wished Ejei success in carrying out his responsibilities and stressed that under the current circumstances, the implementation of justice, protection of people's rights, and the rule of law constitute the foundation for strengthening social capital, increasing public hope and confidence, and promoting the country's progress.

Pezeshkian said closer coordination and cooperation among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches could help resolve many of the country's challenges and pave the way for more effective service to the Iranian nation.

He added that his administration remains committed to working constructively with the judiciary within the framework of the Constitution to promote social justice, safeguard public rights, and further reinforce the rule of law.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei reappointed Mohseni Ejei as Iran's judiciary chief in a decree issued on Saturday.

Pursuant to Article 157 of the Constitution, the Leader renewed Ejei's term and commended his valuable and sincere efforts during his previous tenure.
