The CEO of the Razavi Cultural Foundation, Mohammad Sadeq Aliparast, said the foundation has mobilized its cultural, educational, and media capacities to commemorate the martyred Leader and serve the large number of mourners expected to travel to Mashhad for the funeral ceremonies.

He said the foundation has designed a series of programs aimed at introducing the late Leader’s personality, intellectual legacy, revolutionary path, and lifelong struggle through cultural and educational initiatives befitting the significance of the occasion.

Aliparast also announced that the Razavi Cultural Foundation has arranged accommodation for pilgrims at Imam Reza (AS) schools in Mashhad to help meet the expected demand for lodging and welfare services during the ceremonies.

In the media field, he said the foundation will launch the “Father of the Ummah” campaign, encouraging journalists and media activists to produce video clips, photographs, podcasts, motion graphics, and written tributes highlighting the martyred Leader's character, ideas, and enduring legacy.

He emphasized that the Razavi Cultural Foundation is utilizing all of its resources to contribute to the smooth organization of the funeral and burial ceremonies while helping preserve and promote the intellectual and spiritual heritage of the martyred Leader.

Ayatollah Khamenei was martyred in a joint US-Israeli strike on Tehran on February 28, 2026, at the outset of a 40-day war of aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. His martyrdom prompted widespread condemnation in Iran and across the region, while the farewell and funeral ceremonies have attracted millions of mourners as well as official delegations from numerous countries paying their final respects.

The main funeral procession will be held in Tehran on July 6 before the cortege travels to the holy city of Qom on Tuesday. Funeral and tribute ceremonies will then continue in the Iraqi cities of Najaf and Karbala on Wednesday at the request of Iraqi religious and political leaders, before concluding with the burial of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei at the holy shrine of Imam Reza (AS) in Mashhad on Thursday.
