During the Friday evening call, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi briefed his Romanian counterpart Oana Toiu on the latest developments related to the implementation of the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the US and explained Tehran’s positions and perspectives on the issue.

Toiu, for her part, welcomed ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at easing tensions in the West Asia region and emphasized the importance of preserving the diplomatic process and ensuring that all parties fulfill their mutual commitments.

The two foreign ministers also highlighted the need to maintain consultations and pursue broader bilateral engagement and cooperation in the coming period.
