The missiles were launched from the area of the city of Chongju in the North Pyongan Province.

According to the South Korean military’s classification, the range of such missiles does not exceed 300 kilometers, TASS reported.

The South Korean army said on April 19 that it had detected the launch of several small-range ballistic missiles from the area of the North Korean city of Sinpo towards the Sea of Japan.
