Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, who has traveled to New Delhi to participate in the BRICS foreign ministers’ meeting, had a meeting with Prime Minister Modi on Thursday.

Araqchi referred to the historic and friendly relations between Tehran and New Delhi during the meeting and explained the latest situation regarding the US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran and its consequences.

For his part, Modi stressed the importance of preserving bilateral relations and highlighted the significance of regional stability and security.

The Indian prime minister also announced India’s readiness to help establish security in the region.
