A meeting of the task force for reconstruction of damages caused by the US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran was held in Tehran on Sunday in the presence of President Pezeshkian.
During the meeting, the president emphasized that the Iranian nation would never bow before enemies and that any discussion of dialogue or negotiations should not be interpreted as surrender or withdrawal. He said the purpose of such efforts is to restore the rights of the Iranian nation and resolutely safeguard national interests.
Pezeshkian also underlined the need to accelerate the reconstruction of damaged areas, particularly residential units.
He stated that ensuring psychological security and peace of mind for affected families is his administration’s top priority during the reconstruction and compensation phase, adding that all executive bodies are obligated to pursue public service efforts with maximum coordination, speed and cohesion.
At the same time, the president noted that given the scale of the destruction and damage caused by the US-Israeli war, the country still requires broad public participation, solidarity and cooperation from social institutions.
He said all sectors of society must join hands to successfully overcome the difficult period.
