Source: Clashes May Resume in Persian Gulf if US Causes Trouble for Iranian Vessels

Speaking to Tasnim about recent developments in the Persian Gulf, South of Iran, a military source said, “After the hostile action made by the American terrorists against Iranian oil tankers, Iran's navy carried out attacks in response to the violation of the ceasefire and the American terrorism.”

The source noted that there are no clashes in the region for now after a period of exchange of fire.

“The clashes have been stopped and the atmosphere is calm.”

The source at the same time warned that if the Americans intend to enter the Persian Gulf again or cause trouble for the Iranian vessels, they will receive a decisive response again.

“Therefore, there exists the possibility of the resumption of such conflicts in the region," the source reiterated.
