During the meeting at Al Baraka Palace, the two sides exchanged views on the latest developments in the region and ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving disputes and promoting stability.

According to the Foreign Ministry of Oman, Sultan Haitham bin Tariq was briefed on the Iranian side’s perspectives regarding recent regional developments and efforts to address them.

Araqchi, for his part, listened to the Sultan’s views on advancing mediation efforts in a way that would enhance the chances of reaching sustainable political solutions and mitigate the impact of crises on the peoples of the region.

The Sultan emphasized the importance of prioritizing dialogue and diplomacy in addressing issues, noting that such an approach would help consolidate the foundations of peace.

Araqchi expressed Iran’s appreciation for Oman’s positions under the Sultan’s leadership in supporting dialogue and promoting efforts aimed at strengthening security and stability in the region, particularly in light of current regional challenges.
