Pakistani Residents of Mashhad Condemn US-Israeli War, Express Solidarity with Iran

A group of Pakistani citizens residing in the holy city of Mashhad held a spontaneous gathering to express solidarity with the Iranian nation in the face of hostile actions by the front of global arrogance.

Participants strongly condemned the US-Israeli criminal attacks on Iran and emphasized the inseparable unity of the Islamic Ummah against international pressure and threats, describing Iran as a flag-bearer in defending the oppressed worldwide.

One of the Pakistani youth present at the gathering characterized the current confrontation as a “struggle between the forces of truth and falsehood”, stating that Iran, by leading this front, is preventing the advance of oppressive powers and protecting the world from a “cancerous entity”, namely the Zionist regime.

The ralliers also denounced crimes committed against defenseless Iranian people and attacks on children’s schools. One Pakistani citizen expressed deep outrage over the martyrdom of more than 100 children in recent US-Israeli attacks, describing these strikes as cowardly and intolerable.

Hussein Komeili, an international media activist from Pakistan, referred to recent protests in Pakistan in which demonstrators marched toward the US embassy in Islamabad and several were martyred, saying these sacrifices reflect the deep emotional bond between the people of Pakistan and the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.

The gathering also received a positive response from Iranian citizens, with one young Iranian girl, speaking on behalf of her compatriots, expressing gratitude for the unwavering support and steadfastness of Pakistani Shiite Muslims during these difficult times.

The US and the Israeli regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the assassination of then Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.

The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.

In response, the Iranian Armed Forces carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.

The war has been brought to a halt for two weeks after a Pakistani-mediated ceasefire on April 8.
