In a message posted on his X account on Thursday, Qalibaf emphasized the role of Hezbollah and the broader axis of resistance in shaping developments in Lebanon, asserting that Iran and resistance groups remain closely aligned in both wartime and ceasefire conditions.

“The completion and consolidation of a comprehensive ceasefire in Lebanon will be the result of the resistance and steadfast struggle of the great Hezbollah and the unity of the Axis of Resistance,” he said.

“The United States must comply with the agreement,” Qalibaf added.

“Resistance and Iran are one soul, both in war and in ceasefire,” he said.

“America should withdraw from ‘Israel First’ mistake,” the Iranian Parliament speaker stated.
